AN ATLÉTICO MINEIRO FAN'S VIEW...
Why I support Atletico Mineiro?
I'm from Gothenburg in Sweden and my team Örgryte
IS(Öis). We have two players, Afonso Alves and Paulinho
Guara from Atletico Mineiro for a few years now, Valter
Tomaz Jr from Peqeuinos do Jocky have been in Öis
five years, before they come to Öis I didn't have
any favorite team in Brazil, but I have always liked the
Brazil national team, all the way from World Cup 1958
up to now. Pele was 17 years old and had his first
breakthrough in the Brazil Team against Sweden in the
final which I never will forget, the Swedish spectators
enjoyed the game and I don't think anybody was sad of
the great lost in the final(5-2), because we where the
winners of the Silvermedal! Juventus is my second favorite
team in Europe and they have similar dress as Atletico
Mineiro and both teams play more technical soccer which
is preferable from my point of view as a supporter
of Örgryte IS. Today it's possible for us to watch
Champeonato Brasileiro every Sunday in the Swedish TV4+.P.S.Sweden
received Bronze medal in the 1952 WC in Brazil...
